Not many people can safely say they are happy with their bodies, with many searching for ways to lose fat fast. A secret that not many people know is that some foods burn fat better than others.

Not Just Physical Activity 
People assume that just going to the gym and getting some physical exercise will be enough to lose weight. This isn't actually true because when you do any form of physical activity you will want to eat more food. Your health is much more important than losing weight too fast.

My Best Weight Loss Foods: 
1. Turkey - is a very lean meat and is a good example of meats that aren't bad for you.

2. Spinach and other Leafy Green Vegetables - Seems Popeye was right - high in Iron and very good for you.

3. Oranges - Provide lots of vitamin C to keep you healthy.

4. Eggs - A Great source of protein used to build muscles. Some people remove the egg yolks thinking that they are bad for your cholesterol, but in moderation, this is not such a bad thing.

5. Blueberries - Known by many people as a super fruit, contains high levels of anti-oxidants.

6. Protein Powder - Anyone trying to build muscles will find that protein shakes are very useful.

7. Fish - Oily fish especially are very healthy for you. Trout is a healthier substitute for many different types of meats. Oily fish contains copious amounts of excellent polyunsaturated fats from the 'omega' group e.g. omega-3, omega-6 and omega-9, which are all known to contain multiple health benefits.

8. Bananas - Bananas are great because they release the energy slowly which will keep you feeling fuller for longer without experiencing a sugar rush.

9. Chicken - As long as you remove the skin from chicken then it is very low fat and exceptionally healthy.

10. Sweet Potato - As a staple food you can't go wrong with sweet potatoes. These may be high in carbohydrates, but they will keep you feeling full for a long time.

Moderation and Staying Healthy 
Some people will try to cut out all the fats from their diet. The problem is that everyone needs a certain amount of healthy fat to function normally and polyunsaturated fats are always the best choice, rather than saturated. You will be able to get healthy fat from seeds, olive oil, walnuts and other nuts, as well as oily fish as mentioned above.

You can eat a little bit of everything you fancy as long as you don't get too carried away. You can eat cheese and other dairy products as long as you don't want too much. You can also treat yourself occasionally to pizza or unhealthy foods as long as you don't eat them all the time.

By adjusting your diet and making it healthier, this should make it easier to lose weight and keep the weight off for a long time without risking piling the pounds straight back on again.
